About this project

As part of this project, we want to build a special table tennis table in the Armenian village of Dsegh, a place of joy, connection, and community for the children of the village.

This will not be an ordinary table tennis table. It will be built from high-quality concrete and reinforced with metal so that it can withstand the climatic conditions of Lori.

The table tennis table will be placed in the central part of the village, directly next to the playground. We are already in contact with the Dsegh community and have received their support.

A Bible verse will also be placed on this special table tennis table. It will be a symbol that God prepares a table of fellowship and joy: a place where the children of Dsegh can experience friendship, share happiness, and encounter God's Word.

Together with the table tennis table, we also want to provide the community with table tennis paddles, balls, and New Testaments.

For this project, we need approximately €2,200.

This amount will be used for:

  • the planning of the table
  • purchasing the necessary building materials
  • construction work
  • transportation of the table
  • installation of the table
  • purchasing paddles and additional equipment
  • organising a small festival and logistic

  1. The table is taking shape

    25 Jul 2026

    The work has started.

    The steel frame is being prepared, the materials are ready, and the first real steps have been taken.

    What began as an idea around a ping-pong table is slowly becoming something the children of Dsegh will be able to see, touch, and use.

    Naira has personally covered the full 1700 euro cost of the table. Thanks to her support, the construction itself is funded.

    But the project is not finished yet.

    We are still collecting support for:

    • the opening festival with food and music
    • ping-pong paddles and balls
    • Children's Bibles and New Testaments
    • small gifts for the children and their families

    These photos show the beginning.

  2. A verse on the table

    We also decided to place a small verse on the metal part of the table.

    On one side it will say: "The Lord is my shepherd." On the other side: "I shall not want." It is from Psalm 23.

    For us, this table is not only a place to play. It is also a quiet reminder that God sees these children and cares for them.

  3. The table is taking shape

    Today we received the first plan for the ping-pong table.

    The table will be made from strong concrete, reinforced with metal, with a smooth protected surface and a metal net. It is designed for outdoor use, so it can stand near the village playground and serve the children for many years.

    Step by step, this idea is becoming something real.
